Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 6, 2026
MshortTV ("we", "our", or "the app") respects your privacy. This Privacy
Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you
use our app.
1. Information We Collect
- Account info: when you sign in with Google, we receive your email, display name, and profile picture from Google.
- Usage data: we track which episodes you watch, like, save, and unlock so we can sync your library across sessions.
- Device info: we receive your device's push notification token (FCM) so we can deliver new-story alerts.
- Ad identifier: the Google Mobile Ads SDK collects your Advertising ID for non-personalised reward ads. You can reset or disable this in your device's Settings → Google → Ads.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To deliver the videos and rewards you request.
- To send push notifications about new stories.
- To show rewarded ads (Google AdMob) — you choose to watch each ad to earn in-app coins.
- To prevent fraud, abuse, and to comply with legal obligations.
3. How We Share Your Information
- Firebase (Google): stores your account, library, and push token. Subject to Google's privacy policy.
- Bunny CDN: serves video files. May log your IP for anti-abuse and bandwidth purposes.
- Google AdMob: serves reward video ads. May use your Advertising ID per Google's policy.
- We do NOT sell your personal data to advertisers or third parties.
4. Children's Privacy
MshortTV is intended for users 13 years of age and older. We do not
knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child has
provided us data, contact us and we will delete it promptly.
5. Data Retention
We retain your account data as long as your account is active. You may
delete your account at any time from Settings → Account, which removes
your profile, library, and push token from our servers within 30 days.
6. Your Rights
- Access / Delete: sign in and use Settings → Account → Delete account, or email us at the address below.
- Ad personalisation: disable in your device's Settings → Google → Ads.
- Notifications: turn off in your device's notification settings for MshortTV.
7. Security
We use Firebase Authentication, Firestore Security Rules, and HTTPS for all
network traffic. The app prevents screenshots and screen recording on
Android to protect content rights.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy when we add new features. The "Last updated" date
at the top of this page will reflect the latest revision. Continued use
after a change means you accept the new policy.
